SOAR's founder spent his career in fire and emergency response across Southern Oregon — structure fires, wildland interface incidents, medical calls, and the long, quiet aftermath that follows a bad season. That experience shaped a simple conviction: most catastrophic residential losses trace back to a short list of correctable conditions.
He also spent years teaching preparedness to community groups, schools, and neighborhood associations, and learned that fear is a poor teacher. People act when they understand their property, see the sequence, and know what a good outcome looks like.
SOAR is family-centered by design. Assessments account for children, aging parents, pets, livestock, powered medical equipment, and the realities of a household that has to keep functioning during a Level 2 evacuation notice.
The company serves East Medford, Jacksonville, Ashland, Eagle Point, Central Point, and the surrounding Jackson County communities, and remains deeply involved in local preparedness education.
